Every one of the hundred-and-twenty photographs in Hiroshi Sugimoto's Seascapes series shows the same thing: the line where ocean meets sky. And yet no two are the same. The light differs. The water differs. The density of the grey differs, subtly, in ways that become, over the course of the exhibition, increasingly legible.
